Lee & Associates’ New Jersey Central Industrial Team on Tuesday said it closed out the fourth quarter of 2019 with two sizable lease transactions in Edison that total more than 330,000 square feet.
In the first, Crista Governara, Rick Marchisio and Drew Maffey represented Experior Global, a transportation, logistics and storage company, in the leasing of 166,425 square feet of warehouse space at 41 Distribution Blvd. at Heller Park in Edison. This transaction marked the relocation of Experior from a previous Edison location.
The same Lee & Associates Industrial Team also arranged a 168,315-square-foot relocation and expansion at 3 Kilmer Road in Edison on behalf of Seawest Logistics, a provider of third-party logistics, warehousing and trucking services with existing space in Edison. The landlord, Branca Properties, provided considerable renovations including, five additional loading docks, an upgrade sprinkler system and a newly white-boxed warehouse.
“It was key that Seawest remain in close proximity to their current operations in Edison,” said Maffey. “3 Kilmer Road turned out to be the best option because of the convenient location and Branca Properties’ willingness to work with Seawest and accommodate their needs.”
