Firefighters have been tackling a blaze on an industrial estate in Leicester.
Crews were called to Pandoras textile factory on the site in Wenlock Way at about 11:20 GMT.
Police have closed the surrounding roads and are warning people to avoid the area.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said the roof of the building contained asbestos and advised people to close their windows and doors as a precaution.
The roof has since collapsed and the factory owners, who did not wish to be named, told BBC East Midlands Today the building was "totally destroyed".
